How to update the RUI file manually?

Hi,

In some cases, Rhino doesn’t update the 2Shapes toolbar, then we can do it manually!

  1. Close Rhino!

  2. Find the latest version of 2Shapes.rui, by default is C:\Program Files\2Shapes for Rhino\6.0

  3. Copy 2Shapes.rui to C:\Users\YOUR USER\AppData\Roaming\McNeel\Rhinoceros\6.0\UI\Plug-ins

One Windows trick:

You can go directy to C:\Users\YOUR USER\AppData just typing %appdata% in explorer.

If you have any question, please let me know.

Thanks,

Rafael

a lot of users will not be able to do this - it would be better if 2shapes compared the files and installed the correct one.

Hi Keith,

I know, but in theory is something that Rhino does automatically! I will ask Rhino dev’s about what is the reason!

Thanks,

Hi,

I was investigating and I think we have another way to do it! In the command prompt, type: ToolbarReset
